The Milkmen opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the second inning and added an RBI single in the third before erupting for five runs in the fourth.

An RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth gave Milwaukee their largest lead but Anthony Hall got the Birds on the board with an RBI single in the bottom half.

The Canaries got back in the game with four runs in the seventh inning. Jabari Henry smacked a sacrifice fly, Hall drew a bases loaded walk and Chase Engelhard knocked in two with a single. Sioux Falls brought the tying run to the plate with two outs but a strikeout ended the threat.

A two-run double in the top of the eighth put the Milkmen back up by five. The Canaries put runners at second and third base with nobody out in the home portion but could not score and did not cash in on a one-out single in the ninth.

Joe Vos finished 3-3 offensively while Hall added two hits. The Canaries (38-35) will wrap up the homestand Sunday afternoon at 4:05pm.
