According to Sacnilk, the Tamil version of DC recorded Rs 5.70 crore in worldwide gross collections on Day 1.
The film earned Rs 4.70 crore in India gross collections, while its overseas business stands at Rs 1 crore. After applicable deductions, DC has collected Rs 4.10 crore in net collections in India. The film registered these numbers across 3,504 shows, indicating a notable theatrical reach on its opening day.
The Tamil version recorded Rs 2.60 crore in net collections, making it the primary contributor to the film’s domestic business. Meanwhile, the Hindi version added Rs 25 lakh in net collections on Day 1. The remaining contribution comes from other versions and markets.
