REVEALED: Sundowns rejected over R30 million offer for youngster

Football agent Matthew Moore has revealed that Mamelodi Sundowns last year rejected over R30 million offer for youngster Kutlwano Letlhaku.

At the time, Letlhaku was reported to have attracted serious interest from an unnamed Portuguese side.
Letlhaku was 19, and the prospects of him succeeding in Europe were high, and the offer was deemed good enough for by the bidders.
However, Sundowns felt the offer was too little, and they subsequently rejected it and Letlhaku stayed put.
At the time, the left-footed attacker had just returned from the U20 FIFA World Cup with Amajita.
And while Sundowns rejected the said offer, they did not name their price for Lethlaku, according to Moore.
The 20-year-old is still contracted to the Brazilians until June 2027, and it remains to be seen if he will remain at the club.

SUNDOWNS REJECTED R30 MILLION OFFER FOR LETLHAKU
“It’s very well publicised that our player Lethlaku has been trying to go to Europe. In this case, they offered more than R30 million and Sundowns didn’t accept it,” Moore told Andile Ncube on Metro FM.
