After weeks of speculation, the 24-year-old completed his move from Stellenbosch FC and becomes the latest addition to Fernando Da Cruz’s squad.
Kaizer Chiefs part ways with Lilepo
The club also confirmed the departure of Congolese forward Glody Lilepo. The attacker has joined Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi after the two clubs reached an agreement over his transfer fee.
Another player to leave Naturena is defender Given Msimango. The former captain departed the club last week after three seasons and is widely expected to join Stellenbosch FC, with reports suggesting his move is linked to the deal that brought Phili to Chiefs.
Despite already strengthening their squad, Kaizer Chiefs are not expected to stop there. Stellenbosch attacker Devin Titus remains a player of interest, with Amakhosi believed to be pushing to complete another marquee signing before the transfer window closes.
With Mduduzi Shabalala currently sidelined through injury and the club preparing for domestic and CAF competition, Titus could provide valuable attacking quality, creativity and depth.
