As the Miami Dolphins welcomed their veterans back for the start of training camp on Tuesday, they still had plenty of players from their 2025 roster left on the free-agent market.

However, that list shrunk by one Tuesday evening, as linebacker Quinton Bell signed with the San Francisco 49ers after a successful workout earlier in the day.
Bell, 30, played at Prairie View A&M from 2015-18 before the Oakland Raiders took him in the seventh round (No. 230 overall) of the 2019 NFL draft. After stints in Oakland, Tampa Bay, Atlanta and Philadelphia, he joined the Dolphins in 2023.
Over the last three years in Miami, he's appeared in 24 games and recorded 35 tackles, one sack, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. Now, he'll have an opportunity to make San Francisco's roster or practice squad out of training camp.
