The South Shore, Brockton area, and Greater Taunton area are all represented proudly by local legends who recently captured district crowns. 16 teams in Massachusetts will compete in the Section 1-4 brackets, all pushing for a spot in the upcoming state tournament.

Section 2 Little League schedule and results
Pool play will be held from Tuesday, July 21-Thursday, July 23 with the top teams meeting in the championship on Saturday, July 25
Tuesday, July 21 — Taunton East at Hingham (Carlson Field), 5:45 p.m.
Tuesday, July 21 — Shrewsbury at Bridgewater (Legion Field), 7 p.m.
Wednesday, July 22 — Taunton East at Bridgewater (Legion Field), 7 p.m.
Wednesday, July 22 — Hingham at Shrewsbury (Dean Park), 7 p.m.
Thursday, July 23 — Shrewsbury at Taunton East (Taunton East Field), 6 p.m.
Thursday, July 23 — Bridgewater at Hingham (Carlson Field), 5:45 p.m.
Saturday, July 25 — Championship hosted by the highest seed
What happens next for Section 2 champ?
The Section 1-4 champions advance to play in the state tournament at Holden at the Holden Little League's CRA Complex (459 Main Street, Holden).
The state tournament will be held from Thursday, July 30-Sunday Aug. 2.
The state champion advances to the New Regionals in Bristol, Conn. from Aug. 8-13. Massachusetts will compete with Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont for one spot in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn. FROM Aug. 19-30.
