Here is defensive lineman Jonah Williams.
Jonah Williams background, 2025 season
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Williams entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Rams in 2020. He played three seasons with the Rams, a partial season with the Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions in 2024 and one season with the New Orleans Saints in 2025. He turns 31 on Aug. 17.
Last year, he played 15 games with one start and participated in 319 defensive snaps (33 percent) and 193 (50 percent) on special teams. On defense, he had 18 tackles (eight solo, five for loss).
Jonah Williams contract details, cap hit
Signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Cardinals, his one-year deal is worth $1.4 million and included a signing bonus of $187,500. Considered a veteran qualifying contract, the salary-cap charge is $1.26 million.
Questions he faces, roster outlook
Williams has proven to be a solid player in the defensive line rotation and could be in competition for a sixth spot on the Cardinals' line with L.J. Collier.
