Cavaliers Star James Harden Makes Strong 6-Word Admission About LeBron James During Free Agency
· Yahoo Sports
James Harden wants to play with LeBron James. Who wouldn’t? Why wouldn’t anyone want to play with the NBA’s all-time scoring leader? It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that all hoopers could someday tell their kids and grandkids about. Plus, who knows, they just might be able to win a championship, too.
After all, James has already won four NBA Finals trophies, and now he’s out to get his fifth. There’s no word on whether the 41-year-old’s upcoming season, which will be his 24th in the NBA, will be his final one. But it’s clear that he doesn’t aim to play for long.

Thus, players know their opportunities to team up with the greatest player to step foot on a basketball court since Michael Jordan are slipping. That includes Harden.
James Harden Hopes LeBron James Comes Back to Cleveland
By now, with James’ free agency sweepstakes hanging on for over two weeks now, everyone has had a chance to envision what it would be like to team up with the 22-time All-Star. They’ve also been making recruiting pitches too.
Now, Harden is joining the fray. Speaking at Friday’s Fanatics Fest, Harden admitted that he’s one of the many hoping James will head back home to Ohio for a reunion with the Cavaliers.
“I hope he comes to Cleveland,” Harden said.
Harden has played with many really great players in his accomplished 17-year career, but he’s yet to team up with James in any non-All-Star or Olympic event. Like James, Harden is no stranger to changing teams as he seeks the right fit. Now, James is doing the same, and he’s taking his sweet time to make a decision. He’s earned that right.
In Cleveland, James would arguably have one of his best chances to compete for another championship. He did it before for the Cavs, only this time they have a team that just reached the Eastern Conference Finals without him. Now the future Hall of Famer may be the missing piece the Cavs need to return to the promised land.

If James did re-join the Cavaliers, they’d undoubtedly see their title odds improve. After all, the chance to add a 21-time All-NBA selection doesn’t come around often. In fact, it may never happen again.
The truth is, every player on the planet is hoping James comes to their team, too. The sad fact is that only one team will be lucky enough to add the four-time NBA MVP to the roster, but Harden selfishly hopes it’s his Cavs.
