McGregor was injured seconds into the fight, after throwing a wild, leaping kick and suffering an “internal right knee injury.”
While the win didn’t come the way that Holloway had prepared for, he still had some time for celebration after the main event at T-Mobile Arena. Holloway was joined in the center of the Octagon by WNBA fan favorite and Indiana Fever enforcer Sophie Cunningham for a pop culture moment the internet could have never expected.

Holloway, who became a viral sensation for pointing at the canvas in the final seconds of his UFC 300 bout with Justin Gaethje before one of the wildest knockouts in UFC history, got face-to-face with Cunningham, who recently went viral for pointing at Phoenix Mercury rival DeWanna Bonner, and gave fans the crossover they never knew they needed.

Not only did she share the post-UFC 329 moment with Holloway, but she also served as a guest ring girl prior to the co-main event between Paddy Pimblett and Benoit Saint Denis.
