More from The Athletic: "The incident took place at a gym inside the Resorts World Casino in front of an AAU team run by Herro. According to multiple sources who witnessed the incident and who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter, Adebayo walked onto the courts and Herro said something to him. Adebayo approached Herro and, without hesitation, punched him. Herro’s AAU coach confronted Adebayo, and Herro yelled at his former teammate while being escorted out by security personnel. Both players left the scene on their own."

The altercation apparently stemmed from Herro allegedly making critical comments about Adebayo in an Instagram direct message exchange.

That's rough for the former Heat teammates. If Adebayo really punched Herro in the face, he could absolutely face an NBA suspension.

What did Herro allegedly say about Adebayo?

He apparently criticized his former teammate's defense among other comments.

Have the Heat commented on this?

They say that they are aware of what's happening but declined to comment further.

Have Adebayo and/or Herro been arrested?

We do not know at this time.

Will Herro press charges against Adebayo?

Again, we do not know at this exact time what the fallout may be.
