Strasbourg considering Thomas Frank to succeed Gary O’Neil

BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg Alsace are considering the appointment of former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank, according to reliable French football insider Mohamed Toubache-Ter. The Alsatians are in the market for a manager following Gary O’Neil’s rather unexpected exit barely six months into the job. The Brit replaced Chelsea-bound Liam Rosenior before making a return to the Premier League with Ipswich Town.

With Strasbourg set to turn up for pre-season on July 8, the Ligue 1 side needs to act quickly. To fill in their managerial vacancy, one of their leads points to Frank. The Dane is currently a free agent after an ill-fated stint at Tottenham Hotspur. The former Brentford FC head coach replaced Ange Postecoglou in North London, but the Spurs’ poor season cost him his job back in February.
