Cancer Aid & Research Foundation (CARF), one of India's leading charitable organizations dedicated to supporting underprivileged cancer patients, proudly celebrated its 25th Foundation Day and Silver Jubilee Year at the prestigious Y.B. Chavan Centre, Mumbai.

The prestigious event was graced by Rahul Narwekar, Hon’ble Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, as the Chief Guest. The dignitaries on the dais included renowned actor and Member of Parliament Shatrughan Sinha, Ms. Poonam Dhillon, Veteran actress serves as the President of CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes' Association) Prof. Dr. Rehan Kazi, Hon. The programme commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and highlighted CARF's remarkable 25-year journey of providing financial, emotional, and social support to thousands of cancer patients across India. Speakers lauded the organization's unwavering commitment to ensuring that no patient's treatment is interrupted due to financial hardship and appreciated its extensive cancer awareness, patient support, and community outreach initiatives.

A special felicitation ceremony honoured CARF's sponsors, donors, medical professionals, volunteers, and well-wishers whose support has contributed significantly to the organization's success. The event's most heartwarming moment was the distribution of financial assistance cheques, gifts, and support to cancer patients and their families by the dignitaries.

"The cultural programme commenced with the inspirational prayer 'Itni Shakti Hamein Dena Data', beautifully presented by renowned singer Vaishali Samant along with brave young cancer warriors supported by CARF, inspiring hope, courage, and confidence among patients and their families.". The audience was further inspired by a special live performance by young cancer survivor Mr. Anand Singh, whose courage and talent received a standing ovation and served as a symbol of hope for patients and families present at the event.

Adding further colour to the celebrations, Vaishali Samant and her troupe enthralled the audience with vibrant musical performances, while celebrated comedian and mimicry artist Navin Prabhakar entertained guests with his lively comedy act, filling the auditorium with laughter and joy.

The Silver Jubilee celebration reflected CARF's enduring mission of spreading hope, compassion, and care. The atmosphere was filled with joy, gratitude, and inspiration as supporters, beneficiaries, volunteers, and guests came together to commemorate 25 years of dedicated service to humanity.
