Miles recorded 77 total tackles, six tackles for loss, six interceptions, and 10 pass breakups last season. He possesses plus ball skills and the ability to close space quickly and arrive with physicality, giving him clear upside as a middle‑of‑the‑field playmaker who can take the right angles and finish in space. Miles’ instincts, tackling, and versatility to make him an ideal fit for the types of safeties Minnesota has developed under Danny Collins. With that said, he will need to continue to refine his man‑coverage technique against more polished route runners, add functional strength to handle Big Ten traffic in the box, and sharpen his eye discipline so he can consistently trust his keys instead of relying purely on athleticism as the speed of the game increases.
