Hoosiers Daily News: Indiana schedules exhibition matchup with North Carolina
· Yahoo Sports
Indiana men’s basketball keeps adding onto its 2026-27 schedule… kind of.
Visit mwafrika.life for more information.
Indiana has added an exhibition matchup against North Carolina set to be played on Sunday, October 18, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. It’ll be the first matchup between the two programs since 2022 but, unlike that 77-65 win at Assembly Hall, the game won’t count toward either team’s record, being an exhibition.
Scrimmages are, of course, a part of college basketball and have been for a long, long time. More and more teams are opening up these scrimmages as exhibition matchups as Indiana did with Baylor last year in the same venue. Exhibition matchups also aren’t new but they’re definitely becoming more numerous. There will be more to say on the game here soon.
