Kentucky Basketball announces 7 non-conference games, including opener

The 2026-27 Kentucky Basketball schedule continued to come into focus Monday, as the school announced seven home non-conference games for the season, including the home opener.

The Wildcats will begin the 2026-27 season at home with Manhattan on November 3. The school also announced the following matchups:

  • November 6 vs. James Madison
  • November 13 vs. Northern Arizona
  • November 16 vs. Grambling State
  • November 8 vs. Bryant
  • November 22 vs. Sacred Heart
  • November 28 vs. Gardner-Webb

This will be Kentucky’s first all-time meetings with Manhattan, James Madison, Northern Arizona, Grambling State, Bryant, and Sacred Heart.

Kentucky has a connection to James Madison, who is coached by Preston Spradlin, a member of the Wildcats’ staff from 2009-14, then became an assistant coach and then a head coach at Morehead State.

In addition, Kentucky secured a commitment this offseason from James Madison transfer forward Justin McBride.
