MLB's official Twitter/X account shared video of Perdomo ruining the finish of the Reds' mascot race by crossing the finish line in front of Cincinnati's mascots and breaking the tape.
Moments later, Perdomo hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning off of the Reds' Tejay Antone, and stopped during his homer trot to pretend to shoot a basket.
When the Reds' Noelvi Marte hit a game-tying blast in the bottom of the sixth, Perdomo and Marte appeared to exchange words as Marte rounded the bases.
