The boy informed railway staff that he had been staying in Nagpur for the past two months in search of employment, as there was no one at home to take care of him. Understanding his situation, railway staff immediately provided him with food, drinking water, and necessary assistance.
Since the boy had the contact numbers of his family members, he was able to communicate with them. Railway staff also spoke to his relatives and requested them to come to Nagpur and take him back home.
As per the prescribed procedure, the boy was handed over to the Child Helpline for further action. His family has been informed and called to Nagpur. Until all legal formalities are completed and he can be safely reunited with his family, he is being cared for under the supervision of the Child Care Helpline.
The alertness, sensitivity, and sense of social responsibility displayed by Head Ticket Examiner Shri Praveen Londase played a crucial role in protecting the boy from potential danger and ensuring his safety. Nagpur Division congratulates Shri Londase for his commendable humanitarian act and dedication towards public service.
