Salman Khan Sends Legal Notice To Makers Of Kala Hiran, Film Based On His Blackbuck Poaching Case

After the controversial film Udaipur Files, producer Amit Jani and director Bharat S. Shrinate, a couple of days ago, announced a movie titled Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy. The movie is based on Salman Khan's 1998 blackbuck poaching case, and the poster has already created a buzz on social media. The makers are all set to release the teaser on June 21, 2026. However, Salman's team has sent a legal notice to the makers.

Jani took to X (Twitter) to share the notice and wrote, "Salman Khan has started threatening people associated with the movie Kala Buck by sending them notices." Check out the tweet below...

In the notice, Salman's team has told the Kala Hiran makers to immediately stop the film or publicise anything about it, which means that they are asking for a ban on the movie's release. The notice also reads that the makers have to apologise to Salman.

Amit Jani On Kala Hiran

While talking to IANS about the film, Jani had said, "In 1998, in Kakani village of Jodhpur, in the case of the hunting of a black buck by Salman Khan, the drama of the courtroom, the crime, the thriller, the rivalry between Lawrence Bishnoi and Salman Khan, the whole sequence has been shot in the form of a movie. The film has been shot in Sambhal, Moradabad, and other cities of Uttar Pradesh."

He further said, “Bollywood actors who had come to Jodhpur — Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Satish Shah, and other people — were together during the shooting. The hunting that took place at that time, Salman Khan’s arrest, and the punishment have been shown in the film. And its poster was very much awaited. People were waiting for a long time for a cinematic story around Salman Khan, Lawrence Bishnoi, and the case of deer hunting. On June 20, we are going to release the first look, the teaser."
