Bayern Munich’s summer plans revealed in detail
· Yahoo Sports
It has barely been a week since Bayern Munich’s season ended, but the plans for next season have already been revealed, at least for the summer.
Vincent Kompany will gather his players for the first training session on the 20th of July, one day after the World Cup final. Five days into training, the team will play against Wehen Wiesbaden, Bayern’s first Pokal opponents this past season in a friendly.

Afterwards, the team will travel to Tegernsee for their usual training camp from the 27th to the 30th. The last day will feature the routine friendly against local side Rottach Egern.
At the turn of the month, the team will embark on their summer tour to Asia. Their first stop will be Jeju Island of South Korea, where they will play a friendly with K League club Jeju SK, planned on the 4th of August. Three days later, the team will play Aston Villa in Hong Kong. Overall, the tour will last from the 1st to the 8th of August.
A week later, Bayern will welcome RB Leipzig to the Allianz Arena for the Telekom Cup, and their final preseason friendly. The season will officially kick off a week from then on the 22nd, when Bayern travel to Dortmund to play in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup.
Naturally, the participation of the players will depend on how far their teams make it at the World Cup. This writer in particular is hoping to catch a few players at Jeju International Airport on the 1st of August, although he sadly cannot attend the Jeju SK friendly or the open training session the day before.
