Give it up for Tri-County softball player Neila Schweitzer, who garnered 6,666 votes out of 15,183 total to win last week’s honor. There are another baker’s dozen candidates to choose from for Daily News Girls Athlete of the Week as we enter the playoffs. Vote below. The poll remain active until Sunday, May 31 at 6 p.m.

Taylor Alaire, Marlborough softball 

She hit a triple and had three RBIs against Oakmont and was also 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases against Sutton.

Taylor Attaway, Hudson softball 

The senior knocked in four runs with two hits and struck out five in a win against Grafton last Monday. She also threw a five-hit shutout against Acton-Boxborough on Thursday. 

Kira DeBaggis, Nipmuc softball  

The senior was 3-for-3 with two home runs and three RBIs against Nashoba. She also hit a double and drove in a run against unbeaten AMSA. 

MacKenzie Duffy, Tri-County softball 

Duffy hit a triple and a home run with three RBIs against Blue Hills. The senior went 2-for-3 with five runs, two doubles and a homer against Norfolk Aggie as well. 

Ashley Forster, Ashland lacrosse 

The senior netted four goals in a win over Dedham last Monday. She added three goals and an assist against Northampton in the playoffs. 

Kathleen Galvin, AMSA softball 

The senior was 2-for-3 with two RBIs in a win over Hopedale on Saturday. She started the week with two hits and two RBIs against Nipmuc on Monday. 

Maya Jenkins, AMSA track & field 

Jenkins won both the 100 and 200 at the CMAC Meet of Champions on Friday and led the Eagles to the team title. 

Zoe Le Vine, Hopkinton

The senior went 7-for-9 with a double, triple and home run for the week. It was her eighth homer of the season.

Emma O’Malley, AMSA lacrosse 

The senior scored three goals against Tantasqua Wednesday after totaling six against Worcester Monday. 

Avery Quebec, Hopkinton lacrosse 

The junior registered her 200th career point and 100th point of the season in a win over Holliston. She scored twice and had four assists and won three draw controls. Additionally, Quebec put up four assists and three goals with five draw controls against Norwood. 

Al Regnier, Westborough track & field 

She won three events at the Mid-Wach A championships on Saturday: 100-meter hurdles, triple jump and discus. 

Neko Ustaris, Ashland softball 

Ustaris, a sophomore, went 5-for-7 in wins over Grafton and Westwood. 

Delaney Vaillette, Hopedale softball  

The senior had three RBIs and two runs on Wednesday against Shepherd Hill. She also had two of the three hits that Tantasqua’s Keira McCord allowed in a 19-strikeout performance last Monday. Vaillette scored winning run against Maynard.
