The 2026 Champions League final will be in approximately 10 days, and the mystery surrounding the match has been shown, or at least that is what the club's coach, Luis Enrique, wants to convey.

Speaking at a press conference for UEFA's Open Media Day, Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on the big final.

When asked how the players on the roster felt about the match, the Spaniard preferred to keep it a mystery.

"No information. We have to keep quiet and be discreet. Everyone is ready, and each one arrives in their own way. It will be a week with many days of rest, because it is important to disconnect, but also a lot of training to prepare the small offensive and defensive details for the final," he said.

Luis Enrique also commented that, normally, at the end of the season, players feel extremely mentally tired after so many matches, but this year things were different.

"This year has been different. The most important thing is that when the players arrive at the Campus, they enjoy themselves, have a good time, spend time with their teammates, train, and go to the gym and the pool. To enjoy this profession."

The coach assured that this year his players did not present as much pressure as last year, when they had difficulty managing it; now the roster feels prepared to face it.

"There will be pressure because it is a Champions League final, but knowing how to manage it will be key. We are better prepared than last year."

Speaking about Ousmane Dembele, the coach praised and recognized the work of the Frenchman, arguing that people tend to focus a lot on highlighting what attackers do, how many goals and assists they score, but never on how they defend.

"We must not forget that when a team does not have the ball, it has to defend. Ousmane always demonstrates his individual quality with the ball and his ability to perform well without it."

Finally, the coach also commented on whether he feels intimidated by Arsenal's recent coronation as Premier League champions before the final.

"We have already faced Mikel Arteta's Arsenal. We know very well how well they play with the ball. Without it, they are the best team in the world, without a doubt. With the ball, they can score many goals. If you don't concede any goals and you also score, it is a perfect combination for them. It will be a very difficult final with two teams that arrive through different paths. We can expect a very exciting final," he concluded.
