As Tim Verghese of Rivals notes, Henderson ran for over 800 yards last fall. He is an emerging running back who is beginning to rise in national recruiting rankings. He measures in at 6 feet, 180 pounds.
The Huskers have done a good job of recruiting running backs in future classes. Class of 2027 running back commit Amir Brown shut down his recruitment just last week. Adding an emerging playmaker like Henderson would be another big notch in the belt for running backs coach EJ Barthel and the running back room.
There is still a way to go in this recruitment. However, it’s encouraging that the Huskers have put him on the radar.
