Myles Peart-Harris, Hidde ter Avest, Owen Dale, Will Goodwin, Joshua Johnson, Steph Negru, Tom Bradshaw and Stuart Findlay will also depart the Kassam Stadium following their relegation to League One.
Winger Placheta signed for the U's in the summer of 2024 and went on to make 60 appearances.
In April the 28-year-old was ruled out for the remainder of the season following a hamstring injury.
Peart-Harris made 20 appearances after signing in January while ter Avest leaves after just under two years at the club.
Dale joined from Blackpool in 2024 and spent last season on loan at Plymouth Argyle.
"I would like to place on record my thanks to each of the players for their contribution and professionalism during their time at Oxford," head of football operations, Ed Waldron said.
"Przemyslaw Placheta and Hidde ter Avest both played significant roles across our two seasons in the Championship, while players such as Myles Peart-Harris and Owen Dale made important contributions during key periods in the club's recent history.
"The recruitment process for the upcoming season has been underway for several months, and we will continue to look at ways to strengthen and improve the squad as we look to respond next season and push for promotion back to the Championship."
