Man Murdered Over Mobile Gaming Debt, Suspect Arrested

Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): Betma police on Monday arrested Ramzan Patel, a resident of Ghatabillod, for the murder of Sameer Patel, also a resident of Ghatabillod, on May 7. The victim was killed after being struck with a stone.

Following a tip-off, police detained Ramzan Patel, who reportedly admitted to the crime during interrogation. He stated that he killed Sameer Patel because the latter had lost money to him while playing online games on a mobile phone and had refused to clear the debt.

After the registration of an FIR, a police team was formed under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Rural Rajendra Kumar Verma and Additional Superintendent of Police Rupesh Dwivedi. A joint team led by SDOP Sangh Priya Samrat and the station in-charge activated an informer network to locate the person responsible.

The police have seized a Pulsar motorcycle and a mobile phone from the suspect. Further interrogation is ongoing.
