When Andi Jackson opened up about making the AVCA All-American and All-Big Ten first teams in 2024

In October 2025, Andi Jackson sat for a conversation with 1890 Nebraska, where she was asked about how she felt to make the AVCA All-American and All-Big Ten first teams in 2024. Responding to this, she said that she was ‘grateful’ for the titles and, along with this, credited her teammates for the feat.

“I was super grateful. If I’m being transparent, I didn’t expect it at all. I mean, I knew accolades were going to start rolling in, but to that degree. I just didn’t expect. So definitely grateful. I’m super thankful for my teammates because obviously I couldn’t have done it without them. And they were huge supporters, and they were so excited for me as well. So they just made it ten times more exciting, but grateful,” said Andi Jackson.

She was further asked about which habit she takes the most seriously when she is in-season, and responding to this, she added:

“I think my sleep. I’m very serious about my sleep. I need at least eight hours a night, preferably nine. But if I don’t get eight, then I am lugging around all day. So I really take my sleep seriously. I go to bed at the same time every day, and I try to wake up at the same time every day, regardless of what I have, even if it’s an off day.”
