Just before the draft, Pavia was seen in a strip club in New Mexico having a good time throwing dollar bills at a stripper, according to TMZ.
They also reported that he didn’t leave the club until 5 a.m., according to witnesses who saw him there.
Many wondered why Pavia wasn’t drafted out of college; some pointed to his size (he’s under 6’0"), but others pointed to his attitude.
Former NFL star Tyrann Mathieu said on a recent podcast that he thought Pavia was more concerned with doing podcasts and being seen than caring about football, which may explain why he wasn’t drafted.
Being seen at a strip club weeks before the draft, instead of interviewing and working out with teams, probably didn’t help him, but apparently, the good news for him was that it didn’t seem to bother the Ravens.
They are signing him to a contract and allowing him to try out to be Lamar Jackson’s backup, so in the end, Pavia may get the last laugh on his haters.
