The AC Milan forward's latest scoreless outing came on Sunday in a 0-0 draw against Juventus. The 27-year-old continues to look for his first goal of 2026 after netting 10 times in the first half of the season.
The last time Pulisic went 16 club games without scoring was during the 2022-23 season at Chelsea.
During the match between two of the top sides in Serie A, Pulisic was substituted in the 62nd minute. The Pennsylvania native was visibly frustrated at times during the match.
After the game, Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri gave his thoughts on Pulisic's cold streak and showed belief that the U.S. men's national team star would finish the campaign strong.
"Christian is a very sensitive man and this drought is hitting him harder," Allegri said in a post-match interview with DAZN.
"He is also someone who struggles more with the physicality of duels and the lack of a center forward, but I must try to give a balance to this team, as we have an objective to achieve.
"I realize he is not entirely suited to this, I had asked him to play center right tonight and [Rafael] Leão center left, so we were without a center forward. Rest assured, by the end of the season Pulisic will have given his contribution."
Currently, Milan is third in the league standings with 67 points, 12 behind fierce rival Inter. However, the Rossoneri currently occupy a Champions League spot, a huge step in the right direction for a club that failed to qualify for any European competition this season.
Meanwhile, Pulisic has also been struggling at the national team level, having failed to score for the USMNT in his last eight caps.
With the USMNT beginning its World Cup journey on June 12, improved play is needed from Pulisic to help the Stars and Stripes impress on home soil.
