The pair, who legally wed in a courthouse a few months ago and plan to say “I do” during a bigger celebration in August, said that they decided to go the extra mile to celebrate by wearing wedding-inspired running clothes.
Santoyo wore a white ensemble with a white long-sleeved top paired with a matching running skirt with frills at the bottom. She paired it with matching white socks and white shoes. Her hair was braided and a short veil could be seen flowing from it in a few photos.
As for her groom, he wore a black long-sleeved shirt with a large white bow printed on the front just under his neck with white cuffs. He paired the look with black shorts, black socks and shoes and a black cap to top it off.

The pair took several pictures during and after the race, including one sleek shot of Foreman tipping Santoyo over during the race and placing a kiss on her lips.
The newlyweds said that several people who ran the marathon also gave them some support, with people shouting their congratulations along with cheers. They also got a few shouts of “Runaway bride!” and “When’s the honeymoon?” During the marathon, Foreman also played along, jokingly asking bystanders if they would be his “best man.”
“I feel like we got a lot more attention than I was expecting,” Santoya told Boston.com.
They even got to celebrate with their friends during the marathon, uniting with them at mile 25 and chugging a beer, which Foreman joked had been a stop “for a Bachelor party.”

Running is one of the things that the two bonded over after meeting on a dating app. Foreman told the outlet that he “thought it was very attractive” that she did that and it “made me excited to talk to her.”
“Our lifestyle has kind of revolved around marathons ever since,” he added.

He even considered proposing to her at the finish line of last year’s race, but reconsidered the plan as he knew how taxing running a marathon could be, per Boston.com. He instead used the opportunity to ask her parents’ blessing for their marriage.
“It was the perfect opportunity for me to take them out to brunch out in Wellesley Hills,” Foreman said. “Right before we went out to cheer for Paulina, that’s where I asked their permission to marry her.”
