Toronto cops probe downtown stabbing in apartment building

Toronto Police are probing an early-morning stabbing in the city’s downtown core.
Officers were called to Bleecker St., in the Wellesley St. E. and Sherbourne St. area, around 4:45 a.m. Thursday and found a male in an apartment building hallway.

He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, however police later updated his status to non-life-threatening.
There was no immediate word on his age or any suspect information.
Investigators are on the scene and anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
