India Post Unveils Special Cover at GAU TECH 2026 in Pune

A special postal cover along with a commemorative cancellation was released at the “GAU TECH 2026 – Cow-Based Global Investment Summit and Expo” held at the Agricultural College Ground in Pune.

The special cover was unveiled by Amitabha Singh, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra and Goa Circle. The first album containing the special cover was formally presented to the Chief Guest, Vallabhbhai Kataria, Founder Chairman of GCCI and former Cabinet Minister, Government of India.
The event was graced by several prominent dignitaries, including Hemant Rasane, MLA Pune; Shekhar Mundada, President of Maharashtra Gau Seva Aayog; Jain Muni Lokesh Muni; Rajendra Anthwal of Uttarakhand Gau Seva Aayog; K.K. Goyal of Kohinoor Group, Pune; renowned Marathi actor Pravin Tarde; and Abhijeet Bansode, Director of Postal Services, Pune.
Addressing the gathering, Amitabha Singh stated that India Post is committed to supporting the cow-based economy and will actively contribute to the movement. He highlighted that India Post will facilitate the export of cow-based products through its Dak Ghar Niryat Kendras, thereby providing a global platform for such indigenous products.
The summit served as a significant platform to promote innovation, investment, and sustainable development in cow-based industries.
