A former WEC champion and UFC Hall of Famer, Faber hails from a wrestling background, competing for UC-Davis during his college years before shifting his focus to MMA. Since stepping away from MMA in 2019, the 46-year-old Faber has stayed busy with several grappling bouts and now makes his RAF debut.

And they didn’t give Cejudo back points, so only 7-0 for Cejudo.

OH! Off a tie-up and Faber his an outside trip! Cejudo almost bails out to give up the takedown, but turns in and manages to hold on and stall the position out until the whistle. 7-0 Cejudo at the end of the 2nd.

Period 3

Cejudo to his knees to start, and Faber pressing forward. Cejudo shoots low but Faber steps out, tries to reshoot, and Cejudo backs out. Not a ton of action up here. Faber a little more aggressive, and Cejudo is hanging out. Cejudo gets to an inside single, and drops Faber to his but. Faber tries to hold on but there’s the takedown points. 9-0, Cejudo, as we get back to the feet.

Cejudo right to his knees and hits a deep ankle pick, and this is gonna be it. Cejudo drives through, and finally gets the points, and that’s the ballgame. 11-0 Cejudo.

Post Fight

Oh, Cejudo does the thing immediately. Merab Dvalishvili is in attendance, and Cejudo grabs the mic to call him out.

“You did beat me, and you did pick me up, but I’m going to beat your ass.”

Now, Merab comes to the mic and accepts Cejudo’s challenge to compete at RAF in Philly.

Cejudo cuts another promo on Merab, who says he’s ready to do it. Merab is not great at speaking, lol. But they do a faceoff, and Henry feigns aggression.

Everyone is having fun in there.
