Phantom, which has the best record in Unrivaled at 11-4, received a first-round bye to the playoff semifinals, which begin Monday. Boston was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year on Saturday after a single-season record of 29 blocks. She was also named to the All-Unrivaled second-team.
Considering Unrivaled's season ends March 4, ruling Boston out for the season doesn't give much clarity on the seriousness of her injury.
Boston is slated to join USA Basketball on March 6 in Miami to prepare for the FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which runs from March 11-17.
