· Free Press Journal

West Indies batter Shimron Hetmyer hit a 108m six against Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium as the West Indies faced Zimbabwe in their first Super 8 match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. This is the second-longest six recorded. Before this, the record was held by Hardik Pandya, who smashed a 109-metre six against Namibia spinner Bernard Scholtz during his terrific 52-run knock off just 28 deliveries at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Shimron Hetmyer is unstoppable tonight as he smashes the fastest 50 for West Indies in ICC Men’s T20 World Cups.
